JB Services International, Inc. (JBSI), the predecessor to Swift-JB International, LLC, was established by Jack Peters in La Porte, Texas, in 1989 for the purpose of supplying the high pressure filtration needs of the offshore oil and related marine industries. Through superior design (all stainless steel metal felt media), manufacturing techniques for very high pressure stainless housings and good OEM service, it expanded for over 20 years. Its products are on many of the world's drill ships, semi-submersibles and jack-up oil rigs. With JB Services' long experience in the filter business, buyers became confident in purchasing JBSI's recommendations in that they will fit and will work when delivered to the most remote locations on the planet. In its many years of operation, JB-Services International established and maintained excellent relationships with both OEM suppliers and also manufacturers of the highest quality aftermarket parts available.
In 2014, JB Services joined forces with Swift Filters, Inc. Swift Filters had been a JB Services vendor, having manufactured its high pressure stainess steel metal felt filter elements for many years. By combining its skills and capabilities with Swift Filters, Inc, JB Services is now poised to offer expanded product lines and operational efficiencies to its customers.
